Hidden Agenda - Channel (Remasters)
By 1998 Hidden Agenda had made a huge impression on jungle and drum & bass, first with their earlier Metalheadz releases then with their excursions onto Fabio's Creative Source, so when 'Channel' came along much was expected from the 2 brothers.
A heavy dose of minimalistic funk washes over the title track for a 9 minute rollout which is then cleverly deconstructed for an electro interpretation in 'Channel Beyond', whilst 'No Mans Land' returns to familiar territory as a dancefloor weapon. This was a 3 tracker with the perfect blend of flavours that epitomised the duo's musical outlook, and the remaster makes the whole thing sound even better.
